We met Chef Jhon while waiting in line to buy tickets to a Nacional game at El Estadio. He was the nicest guy we met in Colombia (which is saying a lot as this country is filled with generous friendly people) and helped us buy our tickets. He told us about his restaurant and we felt like we must go the next day. We showed up and were greeted with the warmest welcome. He sent us out grilled paisa cheese that was simple yet absolutely delicious. Then we had a filet with bacon wrapped asparagus that was honestly one of the most tender filets I have had in my life. This restaurant has nice layout and cosy environment but the food is just regular and pretty high priced as you can get the same quality elsewhere for 20% less in Sabaneta.

My New York steak was beautifully cooked. Loved the finca setting, very relaxing. Try the limonada de vino tinto.
