Ripieno's Italian Bistro

This is the third time we have ordered from Ripieno's. The last time being on June 10, 2023. The previous two times we ordered the 28 pizza for carryout. There is usually a 30+ minute wait and they are usually busy. This is okay as we plan accordingly. This last time, not only did we order the pizza, we got a turkey hoagie and the tiramisu. The turkey hoagie was for one of the kids. They really liked it and when I ate the leftover half the next day, I agreed. It was full of meat. The pizza was very good as always. Pizza was great, arugula salad was super fresh! Mozzarella sticks were basic pizza shop level, but the marinara/pizza dipping sauce was one of the best we have had. Unfortunately several things we wanted to ordered we could not due to them being out of pesto ‍ Overall, would go back and even though the prices seem expensive the amount of food you're given is well worth it!Service was okay at best definitely more of a carry out location. Has to ask for plates to eat with after food came out, and again everything we tried to order beforehand wasn't allowed because it was made with pesto so that was slightly frustrating.

We have fallen into the sit down restaurant trap in OC many times. Long waits and poor quality food. Ripieno’s was quite the opposite. We had a great experience 2 years in a row. This past weekend we stayed in OC and wanted something casual. The girl on the phone was friendly and answered many questions. She was knowledgeable about the menu and described several items. The food is reasonably priced and some of the best we have had in OC. The pizza was ridiculously good, the pizza cheesesteak was delicious as well. We will certainly be back next time we are in town.

The pizza was delicious but I had two requests... pineapple and ranch. They had neither. Something about a good crust dipped in ranch, so good. And pineapple, also a delicious pizza topping. Either way the pizza was still great and my family sat outside. Wasn't too loud even though coastal hwy is right behind. Would definitely go here again.

I’ve been ordering pizza for many years.I know the size of a regular pizza.From Ripieno’s we feel cheated.We ordered 10 pizzas,only actually got 7-8.I spoke with my other family members, they feel the same.We feel cheated in Ocean City, Maryland.j.
