At a somewhat unprepossessing holiday camp on the edge of Estavayer-le-Lac resides this welcoming lakeside restaurant serving up tasty, well-prepared food from an eclectic menu. A large terrace bustling on a warm summer evening provided a great view of Lac Neuchatel to the...sunset over the Jura montains. Competent, courteous staff served us generous plates of tapas starters, local lake fish, tuna tartare, chicken curry, salads, lavender-flavoured crème brulée and fruit salad, accompanied by a good Swiss rosé. A very satisfying meal in a relaxing atmosphere.

If you drive from Geneva towards Bern/Zurich, you should stop in Estavayer-le-Lac at the Les Lacustres restaurant!!! We are going very frequently there with family and friends. Go for the tapas as starters. Then all dishes are very good, but our favorite is the Fondue...du Lacustre Do not miss also the wine room! A nice surprise where you can select the best matching beverage...

After a visit to marvellous Estavayer-le-lac, we moved to this restaurant. The terrace is so charming, overlooking the lake and the sunset, and waiters are all nice. Not to mention the food: we had really good sea food with a hint of exotic taste. Definitely...worthy trying!

came here for the first august. platz was full and we arrived late at 9 but they had no problems serving us. eating was good, but a little expensive, service was also good. if they are here and want a beautiful view, that is the place.

The owners are charming and the reception very friendly, even their chocolate Labrador is a lovely dog ! Lots of space for the children to play and the food is great !
