Riseley Village Tea Room

For anyone that has not yet discovered the tea room at Riseley, I simply cannot recommend it highly enough, A great little unspoiled venue with fabulous service and amazing food. It’s definitely with booking in advance but the team do their best to accommodate walk ins. You can have tea and cakes, or a full afternoon tea, you can also just pop in and grab a takeaway which we have done. If eating in, the crockery is a particular highlight and adds to the experience. The team could not be more welcoming or accommodating. Children are also welcome and my daughter was made to feel very special and grown up. This is such a lovely, gentle experience, putting you in mind of 1940s parlours at Nanna’s house. The afternoon tea was absolutely delicious- home baked goodies, freshly cut sandwiches and a wide selection of teas, all served in antique china cups and saucers. Service was equally delightful. Thank you so much Debbie and team and we’ll certainly be back x

The restaurant is located in a village hall tea room with a simple, bright, and nostalgic setting. The host and serving staff are welcoming and friendly, making this tea room an absolute gem that consistently delivers high-quality service.

Lovely afternoon with family at the tea rooms, a great selection of sandwiches, cakes and teas, and a choice of jams with warm scones, a warm atmosphere and amazing service. Highly recommended. Look forward to visiting again soon.
