Rita's Italian Ice Frozen Custard

our visit to Rita’s was great, a wonderful reward at the end of our hike. the walk-in window service was fast, friendly and efficient. they have very smooth and creamy custard, available in vanilla, chocolate or swirl. they have a large selection of Italian ice creams that are updated daily. it was a hard choice between ice or custard, so I went with both in their caption gelati, alternating layers of custard and ices. I chose vanilla custard and lemon ice cream. it was delicious! they also have a “concrete” option, a mixture from their choice of custard and various sweets. I tried to visit later and it was just as delicious.

I’m from South Philly originally and I like to think I know good “wooder ice” (as we call it there) and Rita’s is the best! We love the variety of flavors and customer service is top notch! Always a smile and prompt courteous service. I just stocked up before they close for the winter. Looking forward to openig Day 2022!

Love this place, staff is always friendly. I also just love the Italian Ice!
