Went to roaming roosters for the first time. A coworker of mine swore they have the best chicken sandwiches and honestly, he's not wrong!This location is very small, has a couple tables to sit. It was very clean as well. No complaints on service; cashier was friendly and I got my food quick!I ordered the Honey Butter crispy chicken sandwich (Extra hot) with fries and a drink. This is the BEST SEASONED chicken sandwich I've ever had it was salty, sweet, buttery and spicy! If you have a high tolerance to spicy foods I 100% recommends the extra hot, it was just the kick I've been looking for! The sandwich came with about 3 pieces of chicken, they did not skimp! Worth every penny! Very delicious...

My colleagues had been raving about the infamous Honey Butter sandwich at Roaming Rooster, so that had definitely built up the anticipation in my mind. Overall I would say that it tasted good but my sandwich was much much oiler than the others made in the same order.As it was a chicken spot, I also tried the whole chicken wings; and unfortunately I found them to be massively over seasoned and I could barely finish one.The fries were also not so much to my liking. The majority of them were super short, and seemed more like the “ends” of the fries than a whole one.It could have been that it was an off day, or maybe something with my particular order. I loved this chicken sandwich everything about it was delicious from the tastes bun to home made slaw on the chicken and the pickles for the win if I lived in DC I would be a regular there but it will definitely be one of my go to restaurants when in Dc.

I've only dined in, but the chicken is quite delicious, I usually go honey butter, but I haven't heard any negative reviews from people that tried other items. Prices aren't bad, especially considering it's technically DC. Good tater tots too!

You get a good size portion meal for a little less than $20. The fries are fresh and the honey butter chicken is addictive!
