This quaint little spot made of stone exudes a sense of nostalgia that I really enjoyed - it felt just like home. The staff were incredibly friendly as soon as I walked in. Now on to the food! The home-cooked meal I had was absolutely delicious, with generous portions. I ordered the country steak with seasoned hash browns and scrambled eggs, served with a choice of toast, pancakes, or biscuits and gravy. I opted for the biscuits and gravy, along with a cookie on the side. My 3-year-old daughter was very hungry, so I asked if her order could be prioritized, which they did so kindly. We were looking for a charming place and we found it! Despite some negative reviews, we were pleasantly surprised by the great service we received. We were seated immediately and a young woman quickly came to clean our table. We had come in looking for a special menu item and discovered that the special of the day was Loco Moco. Our drink order was taken promptly, which was a nice touch, and then our waitress took our food orders. Everyone we encountered here was friendly and attentive. location; Good, parking space; Not large, service; Good, food at the price; Balanced, overall; That was the second time and it was good. For parking I would suggest that behind the restaurant it can be full, but in the morning a few spots open. The place was busy and the servers did well with each table. Breakfast was nice and came out at a decent time. I'd come back if I'm in downtown LaVerne.
