Rokujuni - Reservar uma mesa

the rush hour in north sydney to lunch is always crazy, so I find it pretty impressive how fast rokujuni supplies her. it is nothing special that I had much better japaner elsewhere, but here in north sydney, where their lunch break is just an hour, speed and price is definitiw especially. $11 15 for a filling serving lunchtime with the speed they deliver is very good. come here for fast service, good portion for what they pay, and if they are only for Japanese food, they can not find anything else.

Despite the tempting spread of self service sushi at the window, I really wanted an udon soup so opted for a sit down lunch instead. It was busy for lunch time, but it was still early I got a table straight away. Ordered the seafood udon, food took a while to arrive. Udon Soup was ok, but at $14.90 wasn't particularly generous with the seafood. There are probably better value lunch options around.

Self-service sushi, but not on a train, in a window! You just grab a container, take some tongs and get picking. Was a little sceptical, but it was actually quite good. Some really unique choices and they all tasted quite good. Obviously would have been a lot better if freshly made, but the flavours were great and makes me want to go back for al la carte someday.

Rokujuni has very fresh ingredients. We go for an early dinner (closes 8pm) and enjoy the salmon sashmini advocado salad and the bento box with the spicy katsu chicken. Very reasonable and wait staff Ellie is very charming. The restaurant is a little dark and could do with some brightness. Red candles! Bright wall hangings please.

Really average food... the reason I go to this place is because the food spots across the road shut down because of the new train line. The service is good and the restaurant is clean
