Rolli's Steakhouse Schlieren

I am writing this disappointing review from the restaurant now. It has a very trashy, kitschy, fake “diner” atmosphere. I guess the people who rave about it have never had a decent steak before and certainly never been to the states. Its already a sign...that their meat is low quality considering all steaks come with sauces (that belong with fondue Chinoise, NOT steak). Zurich is expensive, so of course this meal could have bought a flight ticket to the beach but instead we spent our evening here. PS they charge for everything extra extra plate). Had been there twice after Bowling game had near the train station. Both times wasn't disappointed by the quality of the dishes. The hot iron for cooking the meat is just fantastic. The first time I ordered an entrecote, and this time a First class...Steak. I loved both. Even the piece of ananas. Had nice wines to accompany the steak. Only pity is that we couldn't have the ostrich meat cause it was run out already, but maybe for next time! During Christmas time looks so nice the inside with decorations, perfect for a dinner in this cold wintertime. Limoncello also good!

the flesh was good. but! they forgot to check covid cert. had the impression that it is not so important. they can act as a large restaurant (at least app seats) for a worse COVID situation! we were there for christmas dinners they did not come to ask for dessert earlier, but finally the cleaning of the table we have not finished - before our reserved time. we complained and the reaction of owner was great. we don't have to come anymore, so - nasty!

I admit I was very sceptical when I visited for a team event. The location is not inviting, the garden is next to a parking and there have been street renovation worka all around. However all the food we had was amazing and the service...was efficient and quick! The price quality ration is unbeaten!

This place really has the best steaks. No matter what you order it’s always on your table within minutes. Staff is very friendly and it’s a fun place to be.
