General We can unfortunately not join the good reviews of our predecessors who are already back at restaurant criticism for a long time. We had reserved and came to the somewhat remote Johanniter Kreuz via Navi. When entering the hotel hall we were kindly greeted and led to our table. It goes down two steps into the hotel's restaurant area. The dining room was formerly a stable and therefore dominated by many wooden beams in a professional way. In the front center is a huge fireplace that is operated with gas. We quickly brought the menus and also the reception of the drink, was quick. Wir waren im Rahmen eines Wochenendes für zwei Nächte in einer Juniorsuite mit Frühstück da. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß, superbequeme Betten und ein schönes Bad.Die Doppelzimmer sind auch sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet.Das gesamte Hotel ist heimelig mit viel Liebe zum Detail.Das Frühstück ist vom allerfeinsten. Wir haben auch zu Abend gegessen und es war lecker. Sehr gute Küche!Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Der Chef schaut persönlich nach seinen Gästen und deren Zufriedenheit.Der Wellnessbereich ist für die Größe des Hotels superausreichend und sehr modern gestaltet.Alles zusammen gefasst: man fühlt sich wohl! Auch weil das Haus nicht zu groß und nicht zu klein ist.

We really enjoyed the food here: seasonal, quality and fresh. The 'extra courses ' were a superb surprise including oil and two different seasoned fats to accompany various breads; a sorbet, a savoury fondant; and chocolates whew! Excellent.

Extraordinary food and service. One of the best restaurants in the region, the best place to be if you love the regional kitchen. Unconditionally recommendable!
