Romantik Hotel Johanniter Kreuz

This restaurant is very charming and cozy with a large fireplace in the middle of the dining room. The staff are all very friendly, helpful and efficient. (All the women wear dirndls, very cute) The menu is varied with fish, meats (including some wild game),...and vegetarian. The wine list is also quite extensive. We were happy with our dishes, except the steaks were a bit on the cool side. Otherwise, I would have given this restaurant an excellent.

A restaurant that shows that the owner is involved with passion and heart. Very visible and a great host. The food is delicious with a modern touch and great preserved flavours. Highly recommend a table on the terrace during the summer time. Service was a...bit overwhelmed when we've been there, but the restaurant was full and I believe the timing of the arrival of the guests wasn't that easy to handle. Ensure you make a booking!

We really enjoyed the food here: seasonal, quality and fresh. The 'extra courses ' were a superb surprise including oil and two different seasoned fats to accompany various breads; a sorbet, a savoury fondant; and chocolates whew! Excellent.

Extraordinary food and service. One of the best restaurants in the region, the best place to be if you love the regional kitchen. Unconditionally recommendable!
