Let me tell you something about Rood. Since the move to Lakewood, this is one of my favorite restaurants. Chef Rachelle is one of the best in the industry? That's just fact. Your dishes are incredibly unique and I enjoyed every dish I have ever ordered (this is currently only 8 between my partner and me, not including cake). We work our way through the menu every visit, but the Charred Octopus and Tortellini Emiliano are definitely some of my Faves! My husband and I celebrated his mother's birthday on Saturday night. Because we're huge foods, we wanted to go somewhere else that she wouldn't normally go out. Rood definitely didn't disappoint! Incredible menu selection and service. Sean our server offered on spot recommendations Shrimps and Grüsen, tempura squash blossoms, asiago scorched chicken absolutely amazing. Fresh ingredients and an eclectic menu, we enjoyed our meals very much. Please leave room for cake!

Fun little corner diver. Inside was charming and many seating. We ordered the Banana Pie that was amazing! The crust was delicious, the fruit was fresh, and the cream tasted handmade. I would have loved the opportunity to go a few more single slices of cakes. But they don't really give you that option when you go in. Regardless of the food was amazing and we want to try more from their menu.

Really amazing pie. For dinner, I order their chicken and waffles. I was already stuffed, but I had to try the buy. The best decision I made in a long time was to get their peanut butter pie. You?ll love it.

A reservation made online easy. I sat right away. Coffee with whip. Zucchini pancakes were delicious. Service was amazing. I love the vibe.
