11. June 2022 I was told that there is only ONE vegan option on the menu that is the Mizuna salad. Either the previous reviews have been incorrectly informed or my waitress has been incorrectly informed. So this is not a viable option for vegans unless they want the Mizuna salad. Apparently, everything else has fish sauce in it and chicken braue (congee). It's good if you're good for a salad, but not enough for me, personally.

It’s fine if you’re good for a salad, but not enough for me, personally.

Rooster and the pig was so so good!!! Exactly what you’d need after a day in the sun to refuel. They serve you complimentary conjee that’s vegan in the beginning and vegan options are clearly marked on the menu. All items I had were amazing but the tofu dish was full of umami rich flavor and came with a side of rice. Will be coming here again

Several delicious vegan options to choose from, which is unique for Palm Springs restaurants. It's a popular spot, so be prepared to wait a few minutes, but they do a great job turning around tables. The tempura squash blossom spring rolls with yuzu sauce were excellent, and the eggplant melts in your mouth!

The veggie rolls, congee soup, and tea leaf salad were excellent. Also tasty were the Chinese eggplant (would’ve been awesome if the sauce was less salty), and the jackfruit nuggets which were tempura-like. Next time I want to try the spicy okra.
