I loved going to this diner with my family when I was a child, so I was looking forward to another good experience. I went in at 2:00 and got a stand. I watched three waiting/cleaning staff standing around, and I wasn't even offered water, even though the diner was in no way overcrowded. I thought they didn't want to step on the waiting staff responsible for my stand, so I didn't think about him at that time. I ordered a chicken sluice, pommes with gravy and coffee. Not sure why this place is considered famous the service was great but the food was terrible. I try not to normally be so negative in my reviews but I struggled to find some positive qualities here. The bacon was precooked bacon from a box, the eggs Benedict eggs were hard boiled, the sweet potato fries were burnt (not caramelized, indeed burnt). The seafood platter was served dried out with a bunch of paprika on it no sauce. The fried Sampler was good and came with lots of sauces. The wings were actually pretty tasty but we were surprised that it didn 't come with BBQ or Buffalo sauce but that maybe more of western NY thing. Had a great meal here, seems like a great local spot so everyone is not only friendly but familiar as well. We ordered Pancakes and à Pastrami sandwich, tool à while to get to us but it was a good meal. A Diner is great when you have damn near nothing to complain about. If you're in the area and need a rest stop, come here ? there's WiFi and it's à great source of information about the other stores in the area. The ice cream Shop is only open on the weekends as well as the farmers Market, go figure.

Great diner to stop and get decent food! They have a Tesla charger outside which I think is awesome as I was able to eat while charging my car. Their menu has a lot of food options. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I love everything about this diner. From service to food to decor. We thought of the Tesla charger, but we stayed for the memories. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu.
