Rod's just opened at Fort Benning golf course January 2020. The food is Southern cooking. You stand in line at a walk up service counter, the menu is located above the cashiers on a light up board and also specials are written on a dry erase board next to the cashiers. The prices at re $15 and under for meals with the average being $10. The fountain drinks, condiments and plastic silverware are all self service. And I highly recommend grabbing them and having a seat since the lunch crowd filled the small dining room very quickly. They have ok food, the seafood platter is ok, but service us amazing, nothing really special about it but it's worth the get away from work just to go have lunch
