rubys chip shop is the best I ever was in north west leicestershire. eating is brilliant and the staff is always so friendly! my family has been here for over thirty years and after them the quality of the food has not fallen a bit! (ps I am photographer, so I played with focuss and zoom on the pictures)

I've come here since I couldn't see about the counter! that was almost 30 years ago. had never had problems. both the owners and the staff were always pleasant. I once drove from london to thringstone and they gave me a celebrity potato butter with my order. the level of the service cannot be beaten!

Recently moved to the area and they are very friendly you are always met with a walm welcome and good food at good prices just wished the kebab menu you had more then just Donna meat as I love a good mixed kebab

the perfect fish and chips! as far as I can judge as foreigners. from my own, a fish and chips restaurant must look and taste. many thanks to the employees to take the time and explain everything in detail.

Andy and his excellent team catered our wedding last Saturday and all the guests said how lovely the food was the portion sizes were very generous. Couldn't recommend rubys enough.
