Went out for a Sunday brunch with a small group of 6. We made reservations a couple of weeks in advance on the advice of one of the members of our party. And all in all, it was a good, but not great experience We found out way through the Arlington neighborhoods until we came across Ruthies. A cute storefront just adjacent to an apartment complex. This cozy spot serves up some of the best dishes in town, with a touch of Southern charm and a lot of flavor. I started my meal with the apple donuts, which were soft, fluffy, and bursting with cinnamon and apple goodness. They came with a raspberry jam that was so addictive, I had to stop myself from licking the plate. These donuts were worth every calorie, and I would gladly eat them again. Had a late brunch around 2pm on Saturday and got the breakfast hash subbed with pork, my friend got the steak and eggs cornbread l. My hash was definitely a bit salty but It was super filling and I think the pork was a great substitution. My friend enjoyed her steak eggs and wasn't able to finish the portion (big! . Honestly, the best thing on that table was the cornbread, 10/10 highly recommend! It's cooked in the skillet so it has a baked texture on the outside and the butter with the tender-crumbly consistency on the inside is perfect.

Ruthie's is an awesome addition to the area. Nice, light ambience and excellent food. Great for all meals. Staff is really wonderful as well.

Great brunch place, it was very crowded on Memorial Day. Food is good as well as cocktails.
