I had the pleasure of dining at Ruth's Chris Steak House, and I must say, the experience was truly exceptional. Hubby and I were on a staycation and decided to try this restaurant. We ordered $250 in food. Both appetizers tasted like nothing but lemon juice, ahi tuna and lobster. The $130 steak for two that we ordered was pulled off the bone and was well done and not medium rare as we ordered, and the loaded baked potatoes that were $13 a piece came with nothing but a soggy potato. No cheese, chives, not a hint of sour cream. Never again. Edit: We were very well taken care of after speaking with the manager and we had a follow up today via email for the issues. Been going to this establishment for years. Have a wine locker there. Went late Friday night to sit at the bar to have a quick dinner. Turned away because of dress code. Meanwhile people are walking out in t shirts and casual clothing. The hostess mid drift was showing and not dresses appropriately It's always been that way. The manager was rude. I will clear my locker and never visit this restaurant again. Went down the street to Annie Gunns and had a 5 meal with excellent service. If you want a high quality meal with excellent service go about 1/4 mile away and visit Annie Gunns.
