Sa Cabana Rural - Reservar uma mesa

Beautiful hotel. Food in the restaurant was incredible. Pool was beautiful. However, it says in the Sa Cabana website that bicycle rental is available. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. I relied on this information in case I needed to travel to nearby towns for supplies. However when I first asked about bicycle rental I was told no. They don't do that here. When I was leaving I was told they do that here but they use an outside company to rent bicycles. It was very confusing and I had to either walk in the heat to the nearby town of Consell or pay money for a taxi. I really think they should have bicycles at the hotel. We felt very comfortable and found few shortcomings even when thinking about it. 1A location, friendly staff and absolutely fair prices at the bar. No air conditioning, appliances either broken or not plugged in and no towels or water. That's what you should expect from a spa hotel. There is also no bell boy or elevator so we had to carry our bags up the stairs ourselves. But none of that spoils our very, very positive impression. We would definitely come back!
