Sainsbury's - Reservar uma mesa

My experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. I tried to shop with another member of my household since we don't drive and couldn't carry the shopping on our own. However, we were rudely turned away by a staff member and security guard who seemed clueless. They were not wearing PPE or providing any cleaning services like cleaning trolleys or hand sanitiser. When questioned about why we weren't allowed in, they simply replied that only one person was allowed in. This rule seemed ridiculous to me, especially since we were from the same household. I pointed out that it would be worse if we were from two different households, but they rudely insisted that all shops had the same policy...

I was in desperate need of using the restroom but the one next to the cash registers was blocked off as usual. The toilets in the café were disgusting, dirty and clearly not renovated in years. It seems like Sainsbury's doesn't have the funds to update them so customers can feel comfortable using them while shopping or after having coffee at the café.

Five people who do not speak English were asked if they wanted their car washed, and then they made a joke in their own language which resulted in a good laugh. Sainsbury's, please take control and stop these individuals from bothering customers who just want to shop without being harassed. This behavior is giving Sainsbury's a very bad reputation.

We received excellent service from Chris tonight. We missed our reservation due to an incident that closed the A14, but Chris anticipated this and returned later to deliver our order. He went above and beyond his job and was extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. Thank you, Chris!

Sainsbury's consistently provides the products I want. The store is clean and has a layout similar to my neighborhood store. They offer a wide variety of bottled real ales.
