Sal And Mookie's New York Pizza And Ice Cream Joint

I used to frequent this place but hadn’t visited in a while. My family was visiting from out of state and in the mood for a patio environment because of the beautiful weather. I initially thought of S&M because of the family friendly environment. We arrived during rush, 7:30pm on Friday April 12. No worries there, we anticipated a wait. We were quoted 45 minutes. We had 9 in our party, including a service animal. The hostess added our name to the list and we patiently waited for our table. Once 90 minutes passed I approached the hostess, and she very rudely told me how we couldn’t be accommodated because there weren’t tables near each other. The last few time I have been there great service fast getting food usually in and out. Today however was a total disaster. We waited hour and a half for our order. It wasn’t even busy. The people working were cutting up and playing when we went to go ice cream. My friend paid for her ice cream and didn’t receive it because of that. She also waited 10 20 mins waiting for it. They told her they couldn’t refund her at all.

They have the best wings! The food is super great and fantastic! It took a bit longer for the pizza to get out to our table but other than that everything was great! I recommend this place to anyone. PD: they have good drinks in there too

The new Sal and Mookies is not bad. The waitress was quick, but the food itself coming out was kind of slow. My husband and I had Strombolis, and they were yummy. The fried cheese ravioli as an appetizer were good, too.

We just had the ice cream and enjoyed it very much.
