Sal's Pizza - Reservar uma mesa

Used to have really good pizza, but they now use cheaper ingredients and their large pizza seems to have shrunk quite a bit. I hate when food businesses start using cheaper ingredients and make items smaller to save money! Make it the with the quality ingredients and charge more. They do have some of the best wings in the area. Their fries are too thin and tasteless. I have to edit my review down to one star. Sal's now charges a 2.9% surcharge to use a debit or credit card. I know the business gets charged a fee from the card companies, but that is the cost of doing business. Incorporate the fee into the price of items. Next time I have a $100 order for a party, I won't be going to Sal's. Oh...

We have been customers of Sal’s for 30 years, and for the most part have enjoyed our food experience with them. Tonight was a disaster. We ordered at 5p were told it would be 45 minutes. We arrived at 545p after we paid watched our slip/order just then being placed in the oven. We waited another 30 minutes for our order were told “we’re doing the best we can”. We just ate our under baked pizza turnovers which were not good. No apology, no offered discount. If you’re short staffed then don’t promise a time frame you can’t deliver on. You wasted our time. We will now be looking for a new pizza shop:

My go-to around here in a true pizza desert. Ask for it well done if you’re from up north. Prices have ballooned recently though. Their mozza sticks used to be my favorite too, but they changed them. Love a local spot, though.

I have my favorites in the South Jersey area, and Sal's is one of those that I rank in my Top 5 for a great pie. I have never been disappointed and will always keep going back.

Plain pizza is excellent. Any toppings and the pizza is lousy. The topping ingredients are not fresh. For example, the mushrooms came from a can and are not cooked.
