We had traveled from Britain to Ferntree Gully to catch up with a dear friend who is a local. She beat morning tea in this small café a short walk from the train station. She sang his praise, and she was right! What a beautiful spot. It has a little of a shaded chic, vintage feel to it, with its distinctive limestone walls and wooden tables and chairs. It was busy, but a table was reserved for us a reasonable movement. We all had an excellent coffee, freshly brewed to our wishes. My long black was strong, robust and balanced, as I like it. We found this place on Instagram and on the 40-minute road to get there. We were not disappointed! Incredible food, great vegan and vegetarian options. Value for money and everything with a smile! Very recommended.
