Salty's Fish And Chips

Spouse and I especially love British-style fish and chips. Spouse enjoys Halibut and chips with a side of Prawns and I always have the Haddock chips. The food is consistently well prepared and delicious at Salty's. The chips remind us of the chip-truck chips we used to enjoy in Ottawa (there are none better). The restaurant is impeccably clean and Heather, our usual server, is always pleasant. Altogether a great dining experience.

As a new Brit to the area, I was excited to try the fish and chips (I ordered take out disappointed to say the least! The portion sizes were incredibly small, chips tasted ‘ok’ and the fish was very greasy, too moist, it ruined the batter completely.I thought I’d give them a second go this evening, tried calling several times with no answer. Why bother, I went somewhere else.Won’t be going back and will not recommend :

We ordered take out and were pleasantly surprised with the portion sizes and quality. It came to us hot and delicious with extra condiments. Love them they are our go to!!

The owner in the kitchen yells at staff and you can hear him all through the restaurant. It made dining there a terrible experience.

Great food and service as usual. Our place to go for fish and chips. Guaranteed not to disappoint.
