Salud Klagenfurt - Reservar uma mesa

I have never been to Mexican restaurant before. It was a nice and busy one. Salud is placed just beside the City Arkaden shopping center. It was almost full at noon on saturday, but the service wasn't slow. We had Enchiladas jalapena Chicken Burrito, both were great and tasty. Every other food looked good too, so we'll come back. During the week you can have lunch only on saturday (in normal time), sinc they opens at 16.00 (expect saturday, when the kitchen strats at 11.30).

I was a the Salud before but that's probably more than 10 years ago. It all tasted a little rich for my taste, on every dish was a lot of cheese, the salsas and sauces tasted like junk food (from a plastic container), meat was overcooked and everything was like out of a microwave oven. Atmosphere is not very comfortably when you go there in summer. There is no A/C and the big doors they open go directly into a main street.

Ah come on, probably this place has too much money not to care about the customers. Prices are also really high for some fried food from refrigerator. People really don't know how to choose some good healthy meal or am I missing some hidden menu. Not to say that stuff must hurry so much that there is no time for service and no I did not order half done chicken wings.

I went several times and have to say that the quality of food is not bad, was everything tasty. The problem is that you always have to make a reservation or you are probably not going to find a place for even 2 people. Have always the feeling that you have to eat pretty fast to let the table free..

Food is good, but nothing special. Prices are moderate. For Mexican restaurant I expected more spicy food. Cocktails are also ok, also depends what you choose. Mochito, for example, is really good, but pina colada not so.
