Sambo's Woodfired Restaurant

Heard about this small informal place so decided to try. Wow!! We live in Manly so only a 8 minute drive. Started with Eggplant Dip, wonderful! Followed by 2 small pizzas, one prawn and garlic, the other Mommas Roast Lamb, with lemon potatoes, fetta, sundried tomatoes and tzaziki, both with thin crust, and heaps of flavour, sensational. Followed by a dessert we shared, two beers (Peroni) and a wine, and the total cost only $77. What a gem! Very informal place, but wonderful food and authentic Italian and Greek flavours, something we have been searching for, great staff and close to home! This will now be our regular!

We live nearby and have ordered pizza here several times. It is always very tasty and there is plenty of variety. They also cater for gluten intolerances with different pizza bases. The only reason we don't eat here more is the cost - around $50 for 2 regular pizzas (and a gluten free base costs more).

The food here is always delicious, a family business where they're love of food comes through every dish. Mumma's roast lamb pizza is amazing. Service is always friendly.

Nice favors with some interesting and more importantly tasty combinations. Loving Mama's roast. Will definitely go back.

Not much to say - we have had takeaway on several occasions and are very happy with the products and service
