Sammy's Bar B Que - Reservar uma mesa

My first time in Dallas, and I decided to go to Sammy’s for bbq. It was telling that the place was empty when I got there a few minutes after open. The barbecue itself was okay I had brisket, jalapeño cheddar sausage, and pork ribs. Meat was tender and sauce was nicely sweet and slightly smokey. BUT the meat was taken out of a warmer and had been wrapped in plastic wrap? which visually was not the most appealing.I had two sides Mac and cheese and cole slaw. The cole slaw had an distinct taste I was not a fan of (fridge burn? turning? did not eat. The macaroni in the Mac and cheese was too soft and it was overall flavorless. Also did not eat. I’m not from Dallas nor work much in Dallas but I was driving back to a training just looking for a place to eat. I saw Sammy’s and thought I’d give it a try. I am glad I did. Very cool atmosphere. They are very pro law enforcement. Very friendly. I got a sliced brisket sandwich. Finally, I find a BBQ place that leaves more fat on their brisket. It was very flavorful and tender. Next time I’m in Dallas, I’ll definitely come back.

Was in town for an Insurance business meeting and had lunch here. Excellent food and service. Went back right before my flight back home and packed my food to make sure it would not spill on the plane. Make sure you try this place when in Dallas!Food: 5/5

Love this place even more every time I come! Everyone here is so friendly and attentive. Food is SO good and hits the spot every time. Highly recommend!!

Great and lots of choices. The brisket was heaven and the fried okra was sooo yummy. The place is really cute.Food: 5/5
