Sammy's Restaurant & Pizza

I'd really like to eat here sometime. I was in Grimshaw on business and had limited time for lunch, so I didn't end up eating because there was such a huge crowd I couldn't wait that long. But it's obviously a local hotspot! I did, however, stop for a milkshake on my way out of town, and they had a bunch of different flavours that you don't normally see like root beer and butter rum. I had the butter rum one and on another day a strawberry one made with real strawberries. Both were delicious--and I like that they don't have whipped cream on top. Like who really needs that on a milkshake!? These are perfect the way they are :)

For what you get the prices were expensive. If you don't say you want a cheese burger combo you don't get grid and a drink. Was only 2 people working over lunch. So it took a long time for us to get our food. Burgers were nothing special. Clubhouse was good. Drink sizes were super small. Overall it was nothing special.

Sammy'a has great customer service, good food, and the best soft ice cream i've ever had. Try the Chicken Supreme - chicken strips on entree sized poutine with regular or curly fries. Great hot hamburger sandwich too.

Small town feel. Big town flavour. Great pizza and friendly service. Lots of parking and easy access on the east side of the main highway in the middle of town
