Sam's Congee Delight

Sam 's Congee is clean, modern and fast quick friendly service.They serve HK Style hot congee, along with popular food items such as Chan Fun Rice Roll , Fried Ghost , stir fry noodles.They are smaller portion than other restaurants but their price are also relatively reasonable to reflect the smaller size.Consistent quality of congee. In particular, I enjoyed the minced beef congee, or the little boat congee or fish pork blood congee.Dining here helps me bring back my memory as a kid when enjoying congee back in restaurants in Hong Kong or the old location of this Sam 's Congee Delight that was located at Markham Village.

The manager is a bad apple in this place, we didnt receive one item which she insist she served, with a arrogant attitude, i lived in canton for 14 yrs and i ran my own restaurant in Canada for four yrs, normally i tip 20%. Today i tipped 15%, just for other wonderful waitresses and waiters.Do u really think i rather lied just for a 3 dollar snack？

Finally made it to @sams.congee.delight ! I think I prefer this congee to other places because of its thickness! We also had cheung fun. The shrimp was okay but the youtiao with beef cheung fun was delicious. Will definitely come back with the fam!

Good spot for cheap and tasty Hong Kong flavours! The cheung fun is very soft and silky (must get). Jook is a good individual size and packed with flavour. You can skip the cantonese noodle nothing special.And be prepared to wait, as it's busy. Reserve uma mesa agora

Very delicious and authentic cheung fun! Every time I've been to Sam's Congee, it's always popping expect to wait at least 15 minutes. With that being said, service is quick and our dishes were served very fast. Would definitely recommend!

I was disappointed with the fish congee; the fish was overcooked. The pig’s skin lacked flavor, and the fried dumplings were cold and chewy. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

The congee has a wonderful texture. The newly renovated space has a vibe reminiscent of a school cafeteria, thanks to its high ceiling.
