First and last time here. Some very good points. The staff was very nice, and despite some food issues, they remained professional and really tried to help. The seafood gumbo was excellent! The fried banana peppers was a unique treat we all really enjoyed. But as a steakhouse, this place falls painfully short. Two of our 4 ordered filets but received strip steaks. We tried to get the issue corrected, but the owner (via phone when the staff called) said they were just a different shaped filet . We accepted the staff telling us this without further complaont because it was obvious the owner wasn 't going to have them correct the issue. They are a BYOB spot which caught us by surprise but understandably so due to its proximity to a school. The bacon wrapped shrimps were top notch. I would also definitely recommend the seafood gumbo. I felt the calamari was a bit greasy and not very well seasoned. The fried oysters were a no for me. First time trying them so maybe it’s a me thing. The rice fish and veggies on the other hand were great. I do however wish the fish was served with some lemony parsley sauce or fresh herb sauce by default. I absolutely love this restaurant! My husband ordered the chicken fried chicken and he can't stop talking about it—the gravy and fries were perfectly prepared. I tried the fried shrimp and the bacon-wrapped grilled shrimp, and both were delicious; the shrimp were huge and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I can't wait to return! I highly recommend this place.

Nice little restaurant. The only reason it isn?t getting a 4 star is how salty the grilled fish and gumbo was. The fried fish was pretty good though with how light and airy the breading was. Reserve uma mesa agora
