This is a regular evening meal for us. Visited this evening. Our booking wasn 't recorded but the guys were helpful in finding a table for us. The staff, service and food excellent as always. A point removed for the owner who in the presence of all staff in an empty restaurant was insistent that You can 't come through here mate to the facilities, (not only to myself but my partner also), It 's round that way. ' A small and probably inconsequential diversion. In context, rude and no need, considering there was hardly anyone left in the bar/restaurant, probably a last visit. Sad but true

Fantastic food and such a friendly warm welcome. The full English breakfast is the best. We took a friend and she was over the moon, loving the old building and renovations. Highly recommended Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
