Sansotei Ramen Cityplace

The food was decent. I ordered the Tonkotsu, and the pork was on the sweeter side, while the black fungus was softer than what I've experienced at other ramen places. However, the soup had a bit too much salt for my taste, and I found myself needing to drink a lot of water once I got home. My 7-year-old daughter wanted the Simple Set, but they were unfortunately out of rice. On a positive note, the service was good; we requested that certain ingredients be left out of our bowls, and they accommodated us without issue. The restaurant was quite busy when we visited, with all the tables filled, creating a lively atmosphere. Would we come back? Possibly. If we needed a quick meal, we might stop...

What I appreciate most about Sansotei is their consistency with ramen; I've tried almost all of their offerings except for one. While it may not be the best ramen I've ever had, it's still quite delicious. When you're craving it, you know exactly what flavor to expect, and that level of consistency is impressive. I definitely recommend it for anyone in Cityplace. I've rated it 4 stars because, after tax, some ramens are creeping up to the $22 mark, which feels a bit pricey for ramen.

after 3pm, we 2 people wanted to have a quick bite nearby national ballet of Canada. We found this restaurant with decent reviews and wanted to try it. Tonkatsu ramen was good as we expected. I don't know whether it was off peak hour 1 waiter and1 cook? The service was slower than we normally have at pure ramen restaurant. Otherwise overall was good.

My partner and I were looking forward to trying the ramen here, but I was disappointed to find that there were no vegetarian options available. Furthermore, my partner doesn't eat pork, and it turns out that this restaurant only offers pork ramen. This seems like an odd business choice, especially in a diverse area like City Place. I’ve tried Sansotei Ramen from various locations and usually I really enjoy their food. However, this particular location offered a very bland meal, and the broth tasted watered down. Additionally, I received a disappointingly small piece of meat, while other locations typically provide two decent-sized pieces.

This was my first visit to this restaurant, and I found the service and food to be just average. You can get a sense of the quality just by looking at the menu. I ordered the miso black, which was a generous portion, but I found it a bit greasy and lacking in flavor. I'm unsure if I'll return.

I ordered the regular tonkatsu ramen while my friend chose the tonkatsu black. To our surprise, we both received the tonkatsu black. When I asked if mine was the regular version, they told me it was, which felt like gaslighting. I ended up eating it, and it was overwhelmingly garlicky.

Went for dinner got the black tonkotsu ramen. Service was good quick and efficient. The broth didn’t seem very warm although some parts were hot so not sure what happened there. Overall was good broth but wasn’t anything out of the ordinary.Would go again for convenience. Reserve uma mesa agora

The broth was really salty. We got 2 slices of chashu and maybe half a tablespoon of fungus. We asked for spicy chilli oil and it resembled more of a sesame oil and not spicy chilli oil. Won't be returning. For $15 a bowl, it wasn't worth it.

They have excellent service, and the crew are super nice. The food is delicious. The money you pay is worth it. I highly recommend this Japanese restaurant.
