Santos Portuguese Grill

We stayed in Sale one night only and found Santos Portuguese grill. We went at 7 and he had sold out of his beautiful charcoal Portuguese chickens. We had pork belly and lamb kebabs all cooked over the grill. which were fabulous You have to...order the chickens in advance well worth doing if you don’t want pub food every night while you’re traveling

im from melbourne and lived in sale for 10 weeks and discovered santos. consequently i went at least 3-4 times a week, the portugese rice is delicious and chicken is amazing! whenever i go through sale i would always have some santos. very cheap!! and...great value for money! its also very authentic portugese chicken run by a lovely family!

We stopped by for a quick bite as we were driving to Bairnsdale. The good here was good, portions were generous. And the couple running the restaurant were lovely to chat with. We had the bifana and the piripiri grilled chicken both were great....Highly recommend.

local family business amazing food right on the grill boiled large charcoal aromen loves the hull and lammreis always stunning packaging fresh and full of taste and filling

Great food, great service and great value. I now find myself unable to drive through Sale without stopping at this hidden gem.
