in my head this is a 2.5/5, right smack in the middle of the scale. location: a bit hard to find, confusing doors/signage, but nothing too terrible. wait time: no wait, sat at table quickly—wait for food was a tad slow but not awful. food: this was my main issue by far, considering both the price and what a place like this is trying to be. starter: cheese board mayonnaise eggs the bread was cold, not the freshest. cheese board: no explanation of what cheese was what, fairly simple and lacklustre presentation. nothing special about the taste of the cheeses, truly only thought one out of the four was interesting. could use more than a couple of raspberries and some sad walnuts to accompany. th...

Best brunch experience in madison. Lake view. Beautiful restaurant. Amazing food and drink. Service to match. We got the beet **** mary (def recommend) and salty dog perfect drinks…pear and fig salad i loved it, presentation is beautiful. My mom had the Belgian waffle and she wouldn't stop raving about how delicious and perfect it was. I had the madame croque which was everything i wanted it to be. The server explains the dishes well i had questions on and i cant wait to come back to try more

Sardine delivered a wonderful birthday brunch with my best friend. It was very relaxed, no one was rushing us through our meal. We were seated right away when we showed up for our reservation, and the wait staff were attentive and professional, without being intrusive. Our entrees were delicious and filling. And the Pavlova that we split for dessert was exquisite I can't wait to split one again! We'll definitely be back!
