Satellite Lounge - Reservar uma mesa

Just recommended Satellite Bar Lounge to a friend traveling in w/relatives planning a move to Wilmington. And I depend on reviews all the time so wanted to post this one now, especially since it looks like Satellite is still killing it! It was barely pre-pandemic when I had a great visit in Feb2020. We love bluegrass and travel a lot for work. A new work colleague happened to play and invited us to this crazy, perfect venue for 21st century bluegrass! I 'm still in love w/the packed house of youngsters who were so much fun! Bartenders were super busy but I didn 't want for the next good new brew to try! We didn 't know ahead there was not food, but no worries since you can grab something goo...

What a great spot! A taco window provides amazing street tacos and nachos just outside the main entrance. Plenty of seating is available out there, and you can even bring your drink from the bar. However, I can’t recommend the back patio enough. Strategic seating allows you to feel separated from others, while also giving you glimpses of the cornhole area to watch the heated competition. As the sun sets, there are tea lights strewn over the patio and they give you a lovely visual with the umbrellas. The drinks were great and reasonably priced and the bartenders did a fantastic job for how busy it was.

Very cool place, especially to bring your dog while you put a few beers/drinks while back on comfortable furniture. Or for the movie evenings on the huge well-lit open air terrace, even where you can hear great live music on Friday's Saturday.

Love this place. Great place to chill out. It was a lazy Saturday so the wife, Jasper (our dog), and I stopped in for loaded Nachos from porch tacos next door and had a couple of beers in the back yard. Reminds of a beer garden.

I haven’t been here in years and almost forgot how wonderful it is on a Sunday night. Everyone is smiling and having a ball. Can’t wait to be back!
