Schlossbrauerei Weinberg

I come here frequently, as I have regular business in Schloss Weinberg, and am usually very happy - especially with the beer, which is sensational. They also have a decent selection of Austrian wines. This week, the three of us had a selection from the menu, with slightly mixed results: The salad with seasonal mushrooms ("Eierschwammerl") was sensational, the beef roast ("Rinderbraten") seemed good too, yet my Wiener Schnitzel looked suspiciously like convenience food, and the accompanying rice and potatoes were both overcooked. However, the location is fabulous, and the service is great. For a rural eatery, I would still recommend it, even if the food is "mal so, mal so".

Went there several times - food is selectively good but the service and the beer are superb!An important note: for the not-superb food it is not the service part to be blamed but rather the quality of the ingredients. So even if the price list will go a little up, it is all worth so that it matches the quality of the beer and of the service!Another option: reduce the number of plates offered and focus on fewer but with higher quality of ingredients!The place is all worth to be remembered **also** for the quality of its pommes!!!

Wer die gewachsen Kutur liebt und das was sie ausmacht und noch gelebt wird ohne Firlefanz, aber mit bodenständigem Anspruch, der fühlt sich hier sofort aufgenommenund in einer Entspannung der Zufriedenheit.

Anlässlich einer Familiefeier habe ich hier köstlich Wild gegessen. Dazu g'schmackiges dort gebautes Bier. Auch die große Gruppe wurde spielend bedient mit guter Laune.

Nach einem Rundgang im Schloss Weinberg besuchten wir diesen netten Braugasthof. Gutes Bier , schmackhaftes Essen , nettes Personal und gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis
