The castle café, in the immediate vicinity of the New Castle, is a wonderful place for strengthening after visiting the castle and castle garden or just so. We visited mid morning on a weekday and it was nice and quiet. The service was very friendly. We received the wrong order but it was no problem to change it. Beer refreshing, coffee tasty but the highlight was the ice cream - delicious and served with a few berries. We liked that cakes were being hand baked in the kitchen behind the counter.
