We, a couple with a young daughter decided on short notice to spend the Chinese new year holidays in Fiss. We are truly overwhelmed with what the Schlosshotel is providing for the perfect ski holiday. Coming from Asia we are somewhat spoiled and have very high expectations of top class resorts. All aspect actions are surpassed by our current experience. Our suite in the old part is very well layed out, vey spacious, comfortable and well thought out. Great King size bed, lounge area, balcony, separate rom with 2 single beds and a great bathroom with separate toilet, shower bath and three sinks. Service is outstanding, personal, friendly and always concerned that all wishes are met. Staying on...
It's the third year on a row we come here. This is an excellent hotel with great food, perfect location near the cable cars, very nice swimming pool with magnificent views of the mountain and perfect service. Families with children should not be afraid to book this hotel. It is very child-friendly with an excellent children's club. Our kids prefer to go there. As far as food is concerned, the breakfast buffet was better common in 4 or 5 star hotels. For example, the croissants are fresh and still warm, several juices available, eggs, pancakes, waffles a la minute (although this should use a recipe from Brussels waffles to make them crispy) etc... Dinner was once again excellent, great select...
We were here twice and had both wonderful experiences. The chalk was not brilliant for our 2 years old, but the 4 on 5 years old loved the children's club. The hotel offers a ski rental and a lift You directly from the ski area/shop to the slope. It's a bit of a trek to get to Berta's children's country, but it's worth it! Food is amazing and service second to none. The rooms are clean and well equipped and perfect for families.
