Have been here earlier but as there was no option had to select the earliest. This restaurant has the famous chicken in the basket. The chicken is tasty but the service is very rude. I asked for a salad and they brought it with french dressing. I kindley asked the waiter to change it with one with italian dressing. Waiter took the salad and came back saying that their standard is french dressing and if I wanted italian dressing, I should have told that while ordering. I told I din't know that you were going to bring it with dressing on the top but no way... I wanted one with italaini I had to pay for that again...

Could write a book about all the bad things in this place but heres a little overview: no menu no knifes (the guests are too dumb to cut the paper) ambiente worse than mcdonalds waited 50min for 2 chicken (even though we made a reservation and everyone takes the chicken salad out of the bag with convenience dressing waitress rude but the manager was the worst: we always do it like that , dk why you complain , etc paid around 90 chf for 2 chicken, fries, softdrinks and salad enormous for Tuggen If you really want to have chicken in a basket try competitor in 8143

Restaurant Schlüssel specializes in chicken in the basket . At one time, it was the only main course offered. However, after all the concern about the bird flu scare a few years ago, they started offering fish in the basket . Both of these meals are excellent and very reasonably priced. The chicken is their specialty and they have their own recipe which is a trade secret. I have never had better chicken than what is offered here. This restaurant is extremely popular and is always full. So, it is important to make reservations.

This wonderful restaurant is situated in Tuggen, not Lachen as it wrongly says on Tripadvisor. Easy to reach by car. Lots of parking spaces. The chicken is juicy and the sauce that comes with it just fantastic. If you love chicken that's your place! Enjoy!

Oh my goodness. That chicken in that sauce. Oh. My. Goodness. We rode 5 miles on the bike each way in the summer heat for this lunch, and it was totally worth it. Did I mention that the chicken is legendary?
