We are down in Troon for our anniversary. Love Scott’s in Queensferry so really look long forward to tonight ! NEVER BE BACK. Service was appalling ! Ordered food food came …. No check back no ask why the plates we ordered were not eaten plates picked up move on !!! We love Scott’s !!! But the one in Troon really lets the Brand down I told a member of staff near the end of the visit get response was ‘the staff here are drafted in from another restaurant’ After paying the bill … I asked the same girl if she has any feedback for me … she just looked and said “they said they were sorry to me” Oh…. Not going to pass that onto the customer then ??? Disgusted !!!
I was in search of a restaurant that served scallops, so I decided to try Scott's. I was hoping for a light lunch but was disappointed to receive only 3 scallops, which is more of a starter portion than a full meal. My partner ordered the steak for £26 and received just that, accompanied by frozen chips and no vegetables or salad. The presentation of the plates was lacking. However, I must commend the excellent quality of the scallops. I also ordered a Club sandwich, thankfully sharing half with my partner. Despite this, we both left the restaurant still feeling hungry. The service did not inquire about our satisfaction with the food throughout the meal.
I haven’t been to Scott’s Troon for nearly two years and the food and service is no longer what it was then. Sloppy service and the chicken course should have had Cavolo Nero came with a pile of over cooked stem broccoli. I queried this with the serving staff no response. My fish taco batter was so thick greasy I had to remove the second one and everything on the plate had too much chilli so nothing tasted of anything. The staff were pleasant but very slow and no one checked if we were happy with our meal very “Un Buzzworks”. I plan not to return
Not the best experience sad to say. Long wait for drinks to be served..on a Wednesday afternoon which wants busy. Food came and inedible so waited for a replacement..standard sandwich. Staff ignoring us most of the time when we were wanting assistance. Had to literally leave to pay the bill ask some came up to us. Ambience not a typical scotts restaurant and felt I was intruding in the staff. Disappointing in all aspects. Servie. Meal. Standards etc Reserve uma mesa agora
Scott's is an amazing venue with boats floating in the harbor on one side and fancy fish tanks on the other. The food and atmosphere are both incredible. Even on a Tuesday evening in February, the place was completely packed, and it's easy to see why. I absolutely love this place and will definitely return as soon as I can get back to Troon. A huge thank you to all the staff for making our evening so special. Ian.
It was my son's 21st Birthday and we wanted to go somewhere special hence choosing Scott's. They gave us a lovely table by the window overlooking the marina. I thought the food was amazing! We all had different meals and none of us had a complaint. The puddings were also good.
