Scrooge's Fine Foods Drink

I've been going to Scrooge's since before I can remember and have loved it- originally for grilled cheese as a kid but lately more for the red beans and rice, gumbo, and fried chicken. The pork tenderloin medallions are outstanding as well if you come in on a day they're being served. I love that the bar walls were literally taken down and moved with the restaurant when it relocated to Ridgewood. The bar feels exactly the same as the old location minus the ever dangerous narrow spiral staircase. The restaurant feels a lot like old the sun room minus the rickety stability. Scrooges is a great place to meet friends for lunch or dinner. The food is great, and the wait staff are very friendly and at tentative. Plus the menu has a variety of selections at decent prices.

The food was great!! We were served fast by a very friendly staff. I would highly recommend Scrooge’s for all your dining needs. It was an authentic southern meal just like Grandma’s house.

Stopped in after softball tourney and sat in bar area. Great friendly service from Chris and food was on point. Had the shrimp poor boy and fried jalepenos!! Yum

Delicious supper. I had crab cakes and hubby had the ribeye. We were both very pleased with our meals. Our server Mel, was very attentive and helpful.
