Seafood Hut And Market

Tried this place for the 1st time 2-3 months ago. I ordered a fried fish platter that included flounder and catfish. It also came with two sides. My total was over $15. To start the service was good because no hoodrat chicks were working there. But the food is unfortunately what disappointed me. The Mac Cheese was the best thing I had and was pretty good. The fries were hot but had zero flavors (the type of fries you would make cheese fries with) and they begged for ketchup. Now the fried fish was hot and fresh but was cooked with zero seasonings. Food is absolutely delicious. The staff is extremely friendly. The restaurant is clean. However, the portions are quite small. They skimp on the side dishes. Paid $30 for a crab platter and got two small clusters, 3 broccoli florets and 1 potato cut into 4 pieces. Seriously? I'm surprised more people don't complain about portions. Maybe folks don't order from other seafood places so they don't know they're getting skimped! ??????????? I was still hungry afterwards. I will not return despite friendly staff and tasty food.

Found this place on Google when looking for some seafood. When I walked in, first thing I noticed was how clean the place was. The man who took my order was friendly and and answered my various questions. We ordered 2 shrimp platters, 1 fish platter, and 2 crab platters. The food was very good. We will definitely be coming back.

The food is amazing!!!!! I love it....EVERYTHING IS ON POINT!!! awesome customer service. I'm not from Philadelphia just visiting and I actually just stumble across this seafood market. Thank you for the great food and service!!
