Was at this restaurant with friends. Great service and the food was super with large portions. One has to try the schnitzel. Mine was the entire size of my plate. The meat was very tender, came with fries and a salad. For desert we had the Rudersheim coffee which is done with whipped cream and Ashbach which was great and worth trying. They also serve cake and totes. This place is worth checking out.

We stopped in because the place posted an interesting menu. We read it in German and understood what was offered. When I asked the server about milk or cream in some of the dishes she just brought me a menu card printed in English, and said all the dishes were served with sauces already prepared. We left hungry.

We had ordered wines and soft drinks for our party and some of the meals. We asked for tap water for the children which he absolutely refused and then refused to allow my friend to order unless she ordered drinks. He was rude and aggressive with us. We chose to leave.

Truly awful. I was not allowed to order a meal without a drink although our group had already ordered several meals and drinks. The owner was so rude we went somewhere else.

The owners are lovely and the food delicious, the best trout I've eaten in a long time. Delicious wine and a lovely garden setting.
