Senor Tequila's Of Fairfax

Today I ate at Senor Tequila in Fairfax. What an amazing restaurant with the authentic Mexican decor to the seats, the walls, the tabletop artistry, and overall ambiance really had me feeling I was in a nice tavern in Yucatan or Mexico City. I ordered the Poblanas Enchilada with a side of rice and black beans. The sauce poured over the wrapped in a tortilla, which was the most popular way to eat in the Aztec Empire pre-columbia days, was savory toasty and taste bud satisfing because you could taste the chocolate and the 50 peppers in the sauce. Amazing restaurant, great food, good parking, and you'll never run out of things to look at while you eat. Every inch of the restaurant is decorated in paintings and artwork like I've never seen before. A treat for the taste buds and eyes. But not the wallet. This restaurant is pricy but worth it. Really wanna go drinking there one day but I can't afford it.Vegetarian options: Plenty of parking. I'm a vegetarian, and they have multiple choices listed on the menu. You can also adjust a lot of meat dishes. With beans and veggies.Parking: Like 40 spots. It's never full even when the restaurant is.

Easily one of the best and most authentic meals I've ever had. We came for the Esquites, but they were out of corn. I was bummed until I ate my Birria Tacos, WOW! absolutely delicious. Maria and Marlene were our waitresses, and they were phenomenal. Quick and efficient service! One of the best restaurants in all of Fairfax, easily.Food: 5/5

Pretty nice atmosphere with some of the friendliest staff I've met. However, the food was lacking. The paella has no crunch, no socarrat, just burnt food. Tasted like they flash burned it in a pan. The rice did not have much flavor. The other food was good though, especially the guac.Food: 3/5

the sweet ileana was our server we love her. I like definitiw the Al-Carbon chicken and Steak-Tacos! also absolutely love their homemade spicy salsa and we tried the churros with a full vanilleeis. so delicious that was our first time and we will definitely be back!
