Seven Stars Bakery

So today I went to this place for early morning coffee. I used to go frequently but in recent years I haven 't (for no particular reason). Imagine my surprise when I tried to pay (via card) and realized that you cannot pay unless you tip or bypass the tip screen by pressing 'no tip ' with the barista standing there watching you! In recent years, the tip habit has gotten out of hand. And let 's be honest; as nice as they are, the baristas don 't serve you anymore than the employees at Dunkin Donuts. At 7 Stars, if you eat indoors, the customer clears the table. If you want a refill, the customer walks up to the counter; no one comes to your table and offers a refill like in a restaurant. i love this seven stars probably the most out of all locations because the front line are the sweetest. the outdoor seating makes me feel like i'm in a romcom. the drinks are always tasty and the bread always fresh (which is my experience with more seven stars locations) but it's just so much more lovely here. my favorite is the olive sourdough. my afternoon snack is half a loaf with an iced ginger plum tea.

Love this bakery. The iced London fog, cheese danish, focaccia, and teas are excellent. I also loved seeing the worker waking up a man blocking the doorway, by not shooing him away or calling the police but by offering him a pastry. Further, when my debit card inexplicably didn’t work, they “comped” my items. I will be back, and will be back with what I owe you. Good business sending good vibes.

Counter person was very friendly and pastry was tasty. A little pricey but everything is these days

Great bakery items and drinks. We got an iced latte and matcha they were both great.
