Five days ago, my wife and I took a trip back in time to a pub we used to frequent 48 years ago in Brockham Park. The food was always good and the beer excellent. We wanted to reminisce about the past and maybe relive it for the evening. However, we had to inform the bartender that the beer he served was sometimes very cloudy. During one of our meals, the chicken curry was mediocre at best. They were unable to serve the beef burger that was on the menu, so they offered a lamb burger instead. We had a wonderful Sunday lunch with my family to celebrate my son's birthday. The food was served hot on a hot plate, unlike some places that use cold plates. They had a nice selection of ales. The pub quickly filled up, but the service was still great. The price per person was between £20-30. Overall, we give the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect score of 5.

On our way home from Gatwick, we stumbled upon a fantastic restaurant with great food and incredibly helpful staff. We were able to find a table at short notice.
