Shake Shack The Wharf

I've been to Shake Shack a couple times now and... It's fine. Yeah, everyone likes burgers, fries and milkshakes. Unfortunately, Shake Shack doesn't do anything spectacular with any of these items, but they will charge a premium for them.So, if you want an average burger, average fries and average milkshake but feel like paying $20 for what essentially equates to fast-food-quality items, knock yourself out.In my case, I asked my wife to remind me next time we're considering Shake Shack that I always feel ripped off afterward and to steer me in another direction.Sorry, Shake Shack.

We had lunch here after arriving at our hotel on the Wharf. Shake Shack is one of the few less-expensive options in the area with the added advantage of also being reliably tasty in my experience. The same is true with this one, as well. The best part about this location, however, is the abundant seating in a public area across the boardwalk almost right in front of the Shake Shack. We grabbed a table by the water and enjoyed our lunch with a view.

We visited at lunchtime on a Sunday. Staff was friendly and helpful. Ordering was quick and easy. Wait times for the food were a bit longer than expected, so the pick-up area got rather crowded. Our order was correct and fresh, but the single burgers are a bit smaller than anticipated for the price. I was expecting similar to 5 guys, and while the quality was similar, the size was not. If you are hungry, order the double. I would visit again.

AWESOME FOOD!!! This was the best burger I have ever had! Burgers were cooked super well and the french fries are super crispy and delicious! If i could rate this place 1-10 it would be 1 million! ps they have upstairs seating which is awesome too! DEFINITELY go here!Food: 5/5

Packed but the food was yummy. I'm not sure who the one lady calling names was but 5 stars to her!!!! She had it down for getting the orders out. The cooks did a great job moving and cooking. Love them. Too packed for me but that's a me thing.Food: 5/5
