Sharky's Woodfired Mexican Grill

I love their veggie burrito (which includes marinated tofu, beans, and grilled veggies, and their roasted veggie bowl (with a vegan pesto sauce, served over rice and quinoa). They have other vegan options such as salad, and most dishes can be made with tofu instead of meat. Great tasting food, especially for the area. Not many restaurants in the AV serve quinoa and kale... lol. They have a salsa bar with a delicious avocado salsa and pickled carrots, to name a few of my favorites. Vegan options are clearly marked on the menu.

Sharkey's doesn't compare to veg-friendly places in LA, but it definitely hits the spot when you're hungry and don't want to leave Palmdale. The tofu and sweet potatoes are my favorite. Vegan options are marked. Employees are friendly.

Secret menu: Lawenda Bowl in honor of the Kaiser MD Turing people on to healthy eating. The Lawenda bowl is a mixture of quinoa with steamed veggies beans, it’s often different though as they use veggies on hand.

Nice for a bite with non-vegans. The tofu in the burrito is always too soft and bland. Could use more seasoning, flavor.
