Shells Seafood St. Pete Beach

Shells is a good example of high quality fresh seafood made in a casual environment. There is a dining room and a bar side, with some outside seats as well. It looks from the outside. Our group stayed for dinner after spending some time on the beach. We didn't feel in our beach clothes. I ordered the fried trio (Shrimp, Scallops and Whitefish) it came with Fritten and Mandarin Schwieger. We also ordered a dozen ro homes. The oysters really meet fresh and delicious with a side of horseradish, cocktail sauce, lemon and crackers. I tried some crab cakes and they were full of taste and crab meat. Looking for seafood on St Pete Beach and stumbled on Shells. We were happily surprised this place wasn't to busy and the food was amazing and reasonably priced. The sauces are made daily in house and they offer a Daily Catch menu. Pictured is the Big Easy dinner which was so good, and U Peel Shrimp! We can't wait to come back.

Amazing food and casual atmosphere. Can choose from nice air conditioning inside or outside from the bar. Appropriate prices and wide selection. My husband has the Jambalaya and I have the baby lobster pasta. Both were great. Make sure to try the shells – some of the best I ever had.

We sat on time for dinner, party of four. Don't wait. Our server was over and got drinks and appetizers. All menu items sound great. We ordered and didn't have to wait long for some delicious food. Our server has often checked us; we had no problems during this visit.

The best food for seafood we had. Extremely attentive and friendly server. Very fair for quality. If this place sat on the beach would need 5 more stars to give it its proper respect.
