Sheriff - Reservar uma mesa

After three years absence we’re back visiting the parents and traditional first night meal is always at the sheriffs. A short walk from where we stay and an staggering distance home. Firstborn has been dreaming about the onion soup starter since our last visit, from all accounts it didn’t disappoint. Spouse had the croquettes and I had a roasted pepper salad, both excellent. Second born had bread and butter slathered in alioli and still smelt delightful the next day. Dad inhaled the mussels; ‘very good’ while experimental mum had garlic bread. Yesterday 08 july 2022 we spent a whole day outing at the Sheriffs Bar and Restuarant in La Cala de Mijas. We had reserved sunbeds from 11:00 and lunch with Sangria at around 14:00. The restuarant was soo busy so we told them we could wait an hour with lunch. The meal was perfect biquerones fritos and the Sangria excellent. After an afternoon siesta and just dazing in the sun we ordered at pizza to go to eat at home. We eat at the Sheriffs fairly often and have never been dissappointed. It is a family run restuarant with a superb menu, both Spanish and International and the service is excellent. The restuarant is on the beach. This venue just gets better and better. Don’t be misled by the road behind this really is a secluded sandy cove and top class restaurant fare with no road noise. Antonio and Katy’s the owners hard work and professionalism shines through and we cannot recommend this venue highly enough. You can even stay in the apartments above the restaurant but book early. We recently returned from the resort and visited the beach/ restaurant a few times during our stay. We’ll definitely be returning as we have done for the last 20 years ! David Sandra

Fantastic place. Lovely setting for an evening meal. Very friendly informative staff Don't really want to promote the little beach. So quiet and peaceful. Shame it's a little difficult getting in and out of the sea

Era muy sabrosa! Very friendly service en good food for a correct price. Literally on the beach, nice and relaxed setting.
