Sheshu's Sizzling Tandoor

For my main course, I ordered garlic naan, saffron rice, lamb korma, and a saffron chicken tandoor sizzler. The naan was excellent, with crispy edges and a wonderfully soft texture. The saffron rice was perfectly cooked, fluffy, and delightfully fragrant with saffron, not sticky at all. The lamb korma was a deliciously spicy Indian curry with tender pieces of lamb and potatoes. The highlight of the meal was definitely the saffron chicken tandoor sizzler. I'm usually not a fan of tandoori chicken because it often turns out dry, but this was something else. We order from Sheshu's at least once per week. The food is excellent. The business is honest and the team of people who work there are courteous and thoughtful. Want some chicken biryani? Eat here. Veg pakora? Eat here. Anything off the menu? Eat here. I heard from a friend that a rival restaurant is offering a free dish if their customers leave a one star review for Sheshu...what a sad way to behave when there is room in Grande Prairie for both restaurants. Royal Curry...stop this shady business practise. It is dishonest and disrespectful. You are probably better than this. Focus on providing beautiful food and great service the way that Sheshu does.

The restaurant is a bit on the expensive side for what you get, but the food is absolutely delicious! Both the Butter Chicken and Chickpea Curry were spicy and full of flavor. Each dish costs $17 and comes with one naan and a serving of rice. However, the service was slow; we were the only customers when we arrived and it took a while to get our food. We had to go to the counter to place our order because the waitress didn't come back after serving our water, nor did she check if we were ready to order when she dropped it off (which we were).

Myself, my husband and our 17 month old son went to Sheshu's for the first time to try something new, and we were not disappointed. All the staff we interacted with were extremely friendly and happy. We loved all the food we ordered and it was even ready really fast! We will be back again!Kid-friendliness: They have a high chair that is available to use and the staff were so friendly and nice to our son. The waitress even brought him a juice box. I like to think I eat healthy so when your always on the go its hard find something that fits the bill. I think I did well with this place. The naan bread was chewy by the time i got back to my room saddly. The samosas and curry chicken were great. Looked great, smelled great, tasted great. I ended up only rating 3/4 of the food. Soo id say thats a win. Sometimes when I eat out its not even a filling meal.

I wasn't impressed with the butter chicken; it tasted more like tomato soup, and the chicken was quite dry. The veggie pakora seemed over-fried as well. However, the garlic naan was excellent and reasonably priced. I would suggest that the owners reach out to The Black Pepper in Martensville for guidance on how to make authentic Indian cuisine.

Very disappointed. Ordered for tandoori mix platter. Chicken and fish were stale. Chicken tasted like overdone and fish smelled bad. Sheekh kebab had no taste.Chicken jalfrezi quantity was less as compared to the price.The only thing I liked was tandoori roti.Food was cold.Don't think I'll order again.

My husband and I dined here, and the food was absolutely delicious! The service was incredibly fast, and our server was sweet and friendly. The staff here are excellent! It's a must-visit for a great meal! Enjoy!

Absolutely amazing Indian food. I was in GP for a month and ate this stuff almost every day. I miss it. Godspeed Sheshu’s!!! Can’t wait to return
